The Directorate of Food Processing (DOFP), Government of Meghalaya, organised a three-day Training Programme on Value Addition of Fruits and Vegetables at FPC, Shillong, from 17–19 June 2026. The programme provided participants with practical knowledge and hands-on training in fruit and vegetable processing, preservation techniques, quality standards, packaging, and value addition. By enhancing technical skills and promoting entrepreneurial opportunities, the initiative aimed to strengthen local food processing enterprises, minimise post-harvest losses, and create sustainable livelihood opportunities across the state.
