Jack Start 2023 is an event organised by the Directorate of Food Processing on the 27th July, 2023 at the State Convention Centre, Shillong. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Ampareen Lyngdoh, Hon'ble Minister of Agriculture & Farmer's Welfare followed by a welcoming address by Smt. Isawanda Laloo, IAS, Secretary, Department of Agriculture & Farmer's Welfare. A presentation on Mission Jackfruit was delivered by Shri. M. L. Suiam, Officer on Special Duty, Directorate of Food Processing, followed by a special address from Shri. K.N. Kumar, IAS (Rtd), Chairman of Meghalaya Farmer's (Empowerment) Commission. Moreover, Dr. Ampareen Lyngdoh also delivered a speech thus encouraging and sending words of support to the local entrepreneurs present at the event.
